The “Basque” beret was first hand knit by Bearn shepherds who felted the wool in mountain waters. The result was a wonderfully robust hat that protected against harsh sun and cold winters.

The Capas Traditional Hispano Basque Beret is 100% wool with satin lining. A traditional Baqsue beret at a great price. This French/Italian style beret has a comfortable and malleable sweatband and traditional tassel on top. Warm enough for winter wear. Imported.
